The 10 Thai soldiers stationed in Wat Keo Sekha Kiri Svarak Pagoda who were asked by the RCAF to vacate from their location last week, have not been pulled out yet as of Tuesday. An anonymous RCAF commander said that Cambodian troops did not take any action to chase them out from the pagoda yet because Cambodia is still celebrating the first anniversary of the listing of Preah Vihear Temple as a World Heritage Site. This anonymous commander told The Phnom Penh Post: “We must celebrate first, after that we will take measure to prevent these Thai soldiers from returning back to the pagoda.” However, this commander did not indicate the measure that will be taken against these Thai soldiers.
