South Africa returns to the Miss International pageant when 23-year-old Bokang Montjane takes to the stage in Chengdu, China on 28 November. Bokang will be hoping to repeat her success at the Miss Earth 2007 pageant where she placed as one of the Top 16 semi-finalists and was the winner of the Beauty For A Cause award.
This will be only the second time that South Africa has competed at the pageant since 1968. In 2000 Irmari Steyl competed at Miss International, becoming the first South African since Mary McDonald in 1968 to do so.
Good luck Bokang. Hope you do yourself and South Africa proud.
