Whilst the eyes of the pageant world were focused on Las Vegas and the Miss Universe pageant, another international pageant was taking place "down the road" in Houston, Texas. Miss Teen World was crowned there on 14 August.
The winner was Miss Greece, Anastasia Sidiropoulou. Second place went to Miss Canada, Channing Smendziuk, and third place went to Miss South Africa, Ti-Amore Fourie. 25 contestants competed for the crown. The winner was crowned by outgoing Miss Teen World, South Africa's Tayla Robinson.
I don't know who designed Ti-Amore's gown for the event, but it is a damn side better and more suited to a pageant than the "not your usual pageant gown" gown that Nicole Flint wore at Miss Universe. And to think the designer of Nicole's couturial nightmare is now boasting on Facebook that Nicole placed in the Top 10 in his gown.
Honey, I would shut up and sit quitely in the corner on that one. That gown hasn't received a single positive review outside of your circle of friends and the schlebs who are looking for freebie loaners. It more that likely cost Nicole a place in the Top 5 at Miss Universe.
