Whilst 2009 is turning out to be quite a competitive year at the Miss Universe pageant, with at least 30 girls that have a reasonable shot at the crown, there are some girls for whom the 3 weeks in the Bahamas will be nothing more than some leisuretime on a fabulous Caribbean island.
The winner of my Miss Universal Leisure elimination contest is Miss Japan. Apart from Riyo Mori, I have yet to figure out what the fascination is with Ines Legron's annual offering from the land of the rising sun. Miss Japanatina, or is it Miss Latinapan, takes the cake. I'm all for change and progress, but to train someone to the point where she defies a national stereotype to the extreme is just too bizarre.
Miss Japan beat the likes of Miss Albania, Miss Bolivia, Miss Brazil, Miss El Salvador, Miss Mauritius, Miss Montenegro, Miss Miss Serbia, Miss Sweden and Miss Vietnam to win this contest.
