Whatever the outcome at Miss Peace International in Northern Cyprus on 3 September, Adele de Jongh is already a celebrity in that country. The Northern Cyprus media has been abuzz with the news that a delegate from South Africa will be competing for the first time.Adele qualified for the international pageant by winning the Miss Winelands title on 13 August. She departs from Cape Town International on Friday for Nicosia. The journey includes stops in Dubai and Istanbul.
Yesterday Adele was photographed for her official pageant portraits at Scarlett Somerset Mall who provided all the gowns for the photo shoot. The photographs were taken by Lorna B.
Adele will compete at the international pageant courtesy of the Miss Winelands Organization in association with South African Beauties.
